In Memory of David James Gowans
A life well lived
On Friday night, 21st of February 2020, our Dad, father-in-law, and grandpa died, aged 88. He ran Gowans & Son for many years, taking over from his father in the 1960s until the 1990s when his sons encouraged him to retire. He led a busy and fullfilling life until almost the end. He leaves behind his wife of 64 years, 3 sons, 2 daughters, 11 grandsons, 2 granddaughters and too many great-grandchildren to count.
Goodbye, Dad. Rest easy until we meet again.
